Our Activities
The OMV runs a diverse calendar of pilgrimages, holiday camps, retreats, and fundraising events, all centred on offering care, companionship, and spiritual enrichment to adults with disabilities and life-limiting conditions.
Our flagship event is the Lourdes Pilgrimage, where over 250 volunteers and guests come together for a week of prayer, service, and fun. Volunteers aged 17–29 provide hands-on support, build friendships, and share in a deeply spiritual experience that often proves life-changing.
We also host smaller, more intimate events throughout the year, including weekend trips, international camps, and seasonal reunions. Each activity is shaped by our Catholic ethos and the OMV’s lived spirituality of devotion and charity.
Whether you’re new to volunteering or returning for another year, OMV activities offer a unique opportunity to grow in faith, serve others, and become part of a welcoming community.
The Malteser Magazine captures the heart of OMV through stories, reflections, and photos from our volunteers and guests, celebrating faith in action across all our activities. You can read our latest copy here.
