Christmas Reunion

‘The key to a great pilgrimage to Lourdes is by trying to get the most out of these three things: care, fun and spirituality.’ This saying, which has been passed down the OMV, applies to the Christmas Reunion just as much as it does to Lourdes. It is this which brings us together. The Christmas Reunion is a chance to gather with your OMV family or introduce new members.

We spend the weekend at Worth Abbey, where helpers and guests spend their time merrily catching-up. There are inordinate cups of tea, Christmas dinners, carols, dancing, games, laughter and the OMV’s own 12 days of Christmas. We also have an unique opportunity to partake in the life of monastic prayer, which many find a helpful way to prepare for Christmas.

When is it
The weekend usually takes place at the beginning of December.

Helpers pay £95, student helpers pay £80 and for the day only it costs £40.
