Who we are

We are the Order of Malta Volunteers (OMV), a UK-based Catholic charity of young people aged 17–29. Inspired by faith in action, we serve Christ in the poor and sick. Our community is inclusive, joyful, and rooted in devotion, welcoming all who seek to grow through service and friendship.

What we do

We run pilgrimages, holiday camps, and events for our disabled and terminally ill guests. Our volunteers provide hands-on care, spiritual support, and companionship, supported by a team of medics and chaplains. Lourdes is our flagship pilgrimage, but OMV is active year-round. Every activity blends care, faith, and fun, creating lasting friendships and transformative experiences for guests and volunteers alike.

Our Motivation

We are driven by love, faith, and the joy of service. Our Catholic ethos calls us to see Christ in others and serve with humility. Whether devout or uncertain, all are welcome. Through action, we deepen our faith and discover the beauty of living it together.

Donate

OMV is entirely volunteer-run, with no paid staff. Every donation directly supports our guests, funding travel, care, and spiritual experiences. Your generosity helps us continue offering life-changing opportunities to those who need them most. Please consider supporting us with a one-off gift or regular donation. Every penny makes a difference.
