The OMV take a small group of volunteers to Somerset every year to partake in an action packed activity weekend with a difference. As well as our volunteers, we take a group of children with behavioural problems and learning disabilities with us! As you can imagine, this could be a recipe for disaster but somehow we make it a success, and everyone involved leaves feeling exhausted but sad to go!

While there, we do all of the activities with the children, from raft building to canoeing to rock climbing. Lots of the activities involve team building which is great for the children who really benefit from learning this skill. However the children are not the only ones learning new things.
