During Holy Week 2009 a group of 30 OMV volunteers and hospitalized pilgrims traveled to Rome on the OMV’s first Easter Pilgrimage!

It was a hugely successful week where we got to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the ancient city and The Vatican, have supper with the Grand Master of the Knights of Malta, and attend Easter Sunday Mass with the Holy Father.

Following on from the success of the trip to Rome the OMV organised a 2011 Easter pilgrimage to Malta. A small group again discovered the delights of the island; enjoying a personal guided tour around the Prime Minister's palace, a trip to Ta Pinu shrine on Gozo, roller skating parrots and of course many wonderful, Holy Week services.

We hope to continue on from the success of the last two Easter pilgrimages with another Holy Week trip; destination to be decided!
